On Wednesday 30th September 2026, we were delighted to welcome a large number of parents and carers to our latest Community Alliance Coffee Morning.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for families to come together, celebrate our achievements, and help shape the future of our school community. During the session, Mr Farooq shared the progress we have made so far and highlighted many of the successes that have been achieved through strong partnerships between school, families and the wider community. Parents were also invited to share their views, ideas and priorities to help inform our future actions and ensure that our work continues to meet the needs of our children and families.
We were pleased to introduce Councillor Mumtaz to parents. Councillor Mumtaz spoke with families and expressed her enthusiasm for continuing to work closely with the school on important community initiatives, including promoting safe travel to and from school.
The morning also gave parents the chance to meet representatives from a range of local organisations and support networks, including the Parent Forum and Sendaid. These conversations provided valuable information, support and opportunities for families to become more involved in community life.
It was particularly encouraging to hear that several parents were inspired to take the next step and have already signed up to volunteer with some of the organisations represented at the event. This reflects the strong community spirit that exists within our school and the willingness of families to make a positive difference.
We would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to such a successful morning. By working together, we can continue to strengthen our community and create the very best opportunities for our children and families.
We look forward to welcoming parents to future Community Alliance events and continuing these important conversations.
