Dear Birchfield families
Since my last letter regarding punctuality, we have seen some improvement with fewer children arriving late for school. Thank you to all those who have been getting to school on time. We are keen to see this continue to improve so that all pupils are in class in time for the start of their lessons.
The gates for pupils to go straight to class close at 8:55. After this, any pupil arriving for school is late and needs to go to the school office to be registered for school.
Please can I ask you to help us in this by arriving in plenty of time and allowing older pupils to go to class by themselves. If parents need to speak to a member of staff, we will continue to ensure there are staff outside in the mornings and after school to help.
